Lexi reminds us all of the importance of the Good Book

Lexi Miller

Lexi Miller has been performing since she could walk when she made her debut at 14 months of age in the Scranton Li'l Beauties Fashion Pageant. She has been taking piano lessons from Ms. Barbara Kwiatkowski since 2nd grade. She has been taking voice lessons from Mr. Ron Wagner since 5th grade. Lexi is a proud alumna of the Scranton School for Young Ladies and Proper Etiquette and from there was recruited to be a model/actress for the Scranton division of the internationally renowned Barbizon Modeling School. She has been singing in the choir at Second Presbyterian Church of Moosic since she was 12 years old, but she has been singing solos at Second Presbyterian since she was five. She has appeared in several productions at Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrow Catholic High School (where she attends), as well as at the Scranton Playhouse. Some of her most memorable and favorite productions include Annie, Pippin, The Wiz, Schoolhouse Rocks!, 1776, Once on this Island, Long Day's Journey into Night, Amadeus, The Kentucky Cycle, The Crucible, Driving Miss Daisy, The King and I, Guys and Dolls, Steel Magnolias, Flowers for Algernon, King Lear, Antigone, Fences, A Shayna Maidel, No Exit, Krapp's Last Tape, and Hello, Dolly!

Lexi is one sexy starfish! Some of her favorite roles and productions at Second Presbyterian and Camp Good News have been Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Lexi is getting ready to apply and audition for several conservatory programs throughout the nation as well as the Royal Shakespeare Company's apprentice program in London. She then plans on making a successful career as a serious dramatic actress on Broadway and the West End, which will then segue into Oscar-winning performances out of Hollywood. At some point in her career, Lexi fully accepts the idea of doing a highly-acclaimed mini-series for HBO or Showtime and perhaps even starring in her own television series for a major network because even though television is looked down upon by A-list movie stars, it really gives a real actor an opportunity to delve into the psyche of a character like no other project could.

Lexi is also highly active at Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrow Catholic High School as the president of Drama Club, the vice-president of Croonsaders, the treasurer of Speech and Debate (prose/poetry and duet acting), and the secretary of the Honors Society. Her varied memberships also include French Club, the school newspaper The Epistle, the Film Club, the Spirit Club, and she is a regular contributor to the annual creative writers' publication Divine Inspirations. Lexi would like to thank her mom for always being strong even through these difficult times, and she gives a big shout out to JC, by whose grace all of these achievements and more are possible. John 11:35!

Andrew Hansen

Andrew Hansen was lucky enough to dive into the twisted world of Maddy Mann in the summer of 2008 by creating the character of Lexi Miller and performing in the full-length show Maddy Mann's (and Lexi Miller's) Church Camp Jamboree at Dixon Place. Other New York performances include Ding-Dang! and Ding-Dang in Space! He has performed in theaters across the country as well as throughout Europe. Andrew has a BFA in Musical Theater from Otterbein College. He is very grateful for the constant support of his New York family, and the unending patience of his boyfriend who has to deal with stubbly legs the week after a Maddy gig.
